This transceiver was designed as a dedicated 160 metre mobile SSB transceiver with the maximum UK output permitted of 33 watts. It has a CW keyer which serves to provide a tuning signal.

This transceiver utilises the PA unit from an earlier transverter. The drive source is a G4CLF board much modified to provide a 10.7 MHz SSB TX/RX. A single VFO running at 8.7 -8.9 MHz.
