Aerial Tuning Units

Three different ATU designs. The ubiquitous T match with a roller coaster coil purchased back in the 1950s for a few pence and a Pi match copied from the FC707 but with 160 metres added. Finally an L-Match ATU going back to my initial days on the air in the early 60s.
My article on the construction of these two ATUs won me the much coveted Ostermeyer Trophy. It is amazing that a piece of equipment with such simple circuitry can generate so many questions.
