I have been building radio equipment since 1959. None of the early equipment was ever photographed or recorded. Numerous receivers and transmitters including a valve HF SSB transceiver and a 400 watt linear amplifier were completed before I started to keep records.
The equipment above comprises a 50MHz transverter with a 25 watt linear amplifier; this was my introduction to 6 metres and was driven by my homebrew modular transceiver. A 70 Mhz transverter which is incomplete. A 100 MHz Spectrum analyser and the only pictures of two transmitters dating back to the 1960s and a 2 metre transverter to match the FT101.
