300W Linear Amplifier
This amplifier was designed to use up some longstanding parts in the junk box. It was also to measure the level of complexity of building a valve amplifier versus a solid state amplifier. Originally designed with 2 x 6KD6 tubes it was later modified to PL509 TV line output tubes. The transformer was purchased in 1964.
A fairly straight forward design for a grounded grid amplifier. I had previously built an amplifier using a QY4-400, so the circuitry associated with these valves was much simpler.
